Jen and Bryan’s wedding started with tons of laughter, impressive yoga poses and a bottle of bubbly: a perfect beginning to their wonderful day!! Their kind, gracious and hilarious bridal party made us feel part of the day, and it was a pleasure to capture all of the fun, beautiful moments that unfolded.
I couldn’t have loved this wedding more if I tried!! Laughter peeled, tears were shed, hugs were in generous supply, lasting friendship was honoured, family cherished; in short this wedding was a beautiful microcosm of how Ashley and Brad live their life.
But I think my most favourite thing about their day was the way Brad looked at his bride; throughout the entire day he would look at her. He would look at her with a heart-bursting, can’t-believe-she’s-mine, adoring look, and then this incredible smile would spread across his whole face and this expression kept happening throughout the whole day as if every time he looked at her it sunk in a little bit more that she belonged to him and he belonged to her.
Brad and Ashley, you are unbelievably amazing!! You are genuine, and kind, and simply a joy to be around. I am so excited for you to start your life together as man and wife and I am so happy we got to be a part of your day!!
Brad surprised Ashley by bringing their fur baby Oliver to see her after the ceremony!!
During the bouquet toss Ashely pretended to throw her bouquet and then walked over to her soon to be sister in law and handed her her flowers as her brother waited on bended knee for a surprise proposal…spoiler alert….she said yes!!:
p.s. below is a little video bonus from this beautiful day : )
(best enjoyed with sound on!)
We couldn’t have been happier to photograph this kind, sweet couple at one of our very favourite places to shoot in Shediac. The light, Natalie and Guillaume’s in-love-ness, the location, and let’s not forget Max’s adorable puppy bowtie all made for an incredible shoot!! I hope you enjoy looking at a sample of the photos we took to celebrate their engagement!
April and Matt’s wedding had all the ingredients for a magical day, and it did not disappoint! A posh location for getting ready at the Hotel Shediac, glorious weather (eventually!) with sun and epic skies, a ceremony location transfigured into an enchanted forest by their hardworking wedding planner, and the Shediac Multipurpose Centre again transformed for lovely reception with hanging greenery and glass, candles, real wood touches, and forest scenery all around. Not to mention the slight-of-hand-magician during the cocktail hour which amused and delighted the guests! Congratulations April and Matt for creating a truly wondrous day of which we were honoured to capture!
On a day where the trees stood saturated in deepest green against a cool slate sky, where wind and clouds threatened tempest weather, Abby readied for her wedding, warmed by the love of family and the sweet words that Josh had written to her. Often a man of few words, he saved up many of his thoughts in a little journal as part of her wedding present, and they both shared beautiful and heart-felt vows during their ceremony.
The ceremony and reception took place at the Cocoa Room, and this beautiful location was the perfect backdrop for their lovely nuptials; and the celebration that followed with family and friends was the perfect way to toast to Abby and Josh’s love story!
