The wind whipped and whirled on the day Emily and Adam were to say “I do”; for this day I had pictured a snow wrapped scene with fluttering snow globe flakes lightly brushing this beautiful couple – a gentle blessing on this special day. Instead the wind howled, the windows quaked and from the view of the Chateau de Moncton you could see the ice of the Peticodiac river being blown by at an alarming rate. Despite the wind, spirits were high and the excitement palpable as everyone prepared for wedding. The location for the ceremony and reception was the Cocoa room in Riverview, and as usual it did not disappoint, the decor was beautiful, the ceremony was lovely, and by the time we ready to take pictures the wind had calmed and the sun peaked out for a quick few minutes allowing us to capture the gentle, golden winter light. The day, while not as I pictured turned out just perfectly, with Emily and Adam enjoying their friends and family and most of all each other on their beautiful wind-swept wedding day!
