I have been excited about this wedding since Charity gave me a huge bear hug at her engagement session…ok, who am I kidding, I have been excited about this wedding since meeting Charity at 7:30am the morning of Mandy and Tyson’s wedding (when I found out she was soon to be engaged). I was so excited about this wedding that I booked our first three wedding weekend….that’s right three wedding in four days.
Charity is one of those people whose smile lights up a room; she is so happy it makes my cheeks hurt when I am around her because I smile back so much.
She and Paul have had a beautiful courtship, and they are so incredibly in love….I especially loved it when after I posed a kiss shot, Paul said I could ask him to do it again…you know, if I needed to improve on the shot.
Another really unique idea that Charity used for her wedding was her “bouquet of friends”. This is such a neat alternative to bridesmaids. She had all of her best girl friends stand along the aisle as she walked towards her groom and each friend passed her their favorite flower until in the end her bouquet was made up of this beautiful, wild, multi-coloured arrangement.
Now the friends passing her flowers was special; but not as special as the look Paul gave Charity as she was walking towards him. It is my job on wedding days just to catch the groom’s reaction as he sees his bride, and his reaction made me swoon a little…very Mr.Darcy. He first had this growing grin and then his eyes became all glassy, and he had the little lip bite and yet he held all the tears in….I was almost tearing up just seeing him. I know he is going to make and incredible husband, and he is lucky to have to such radiant wife!
Now, if one is willing to brave the occasional torrential downpour….
… then you might just be rewarded with a shot like this…
Thanks for being so easy-going and adventurous you two!!
