Their house is filled with laughter, love and respect – and smells of freshly baked muffins! Their life holds adventure in little hands that are so adept at climbing, knees that find grass stains and, I am sure, snuggles that leave Mommy and Daddy melting into puddles. What is true in the few times that we met with this family is that their household is full, bursting with life and love – we feel richer for just having met them!
He is her love, and she is his encourager! While Melissa and Justin were dating, she wrote 100 things she loved about him and put it on his ceiling; he could know with certainty that she adored him, respected him, and genuinely cared.
Their wedding showed this love and was filled with details and thoughtfulness. It was a day shared with so many friends and family, and like their love, it was beautiful!
This couple was so fun to photograph- their passion and love for each other made this ‘together session’ so memorable – oh and did I mention we took the shots at a stunning waterfall they scouted!
Any day now, Melissa and Andrew will welcome their little boy home. They will enjoy the snuggles, yawns and pride that accompanies bringing a little one into the world. Melissa and Andrew, your house is already filled with so much love that I can’t even imagine how the walls will even hold together when you bring the little mister home! I am so excited to snuggle that babe and do his newborn photos – until then, thanks for another amazing photo session together!
We are going to be blogging Melissa and Justin’s wedding photos within the next few days-but we wanted to sneak in their engagement session before you see their beautiful nuptial pictures! I was so excited to shoot these two; Melissa had friended me on facebook, and it was the sweetest little look into her and Justin’s sweet relationship. Between making the cutest (upside-down) snowman at christmas, to the adorable care packages sent when Justin was off in medical school, I knew they were going to be just perfect on their shoot…(I wasn’t disappointed).
We decided to show most of the shots in black and white (they got the colour photos as well, we just wanted to try something a little different) – what do you think?
