I find myself losing track of time as I watch as she sleeps and practices her little smile,  or as I trace the lines along her perfect face, or as I just listen to her make little piglet noises when she sucks on her hands.  I guess you could say I have fallen in love.

I know I have fallen more in love with her daddy, the man who as I type is upstairs changing a stinky diaper, the man who manages to looks so strong while snuggling with his baby girl, and the man who has figured out that if  he holds her while tilting back and bounces her a certain way, while walking a specific pattern in the laundry room with the dryer running, he can calm even the loudest squall.

Jenna and Alex’s wedding was one of my all time favorites not just because of the bright colors, the lawn games, the popcorn machine, the fresh mini doughnuts, the parasols, the candy, the fantastic bouquets or the yummy evening light, but because of the two people for whom the celebration was all about.

This was not Jenna and Alex’s first foray down the aisle to become man and wife.  They had promised their hearts to each other fifteen years before.  As teens, both of these home grown atlantic canadians had  sought to expand their academic horizons by travelling to Manitoba to attend Shad Valley or what they affectionately deem “geek camp.”  While attending said camp, they found each other and it seems they couldn’t spend enough time during the day with each other they had to supplement their visits after curfew. After one such visit, they were caught by a counsellor and their punishment was that they would have to marry one another. And so, with a wedding procession, tinfoil rings and stellar vows, their hearts were joined.  Fifteen years later, the same vows were spoken; Alex promised  to cherish Jenna’s love and to always recycle, Jenna promised to never take the last cookie and to greet Alex with a smile every day.  These two are perfect for one another and absolutely still in love after all of this time.  Nearing the end of the reception, I was standing off to the side packing up gear and Alex was beside me looking at his wife, and he said in a cute moment of pride “that is one good looking lady.”

Jenna and Alex’s rings have each other’s fingerprints engraved/marked on them to symbolize the mark they have made on each other’s life.

There are so many other details that I could have mentioned or shown, but I am going to stop typing now so you can start scrolling, enjoy the fun that was Jenna and Alex’s day!

Matt, Krystle and I got up bright and early and excitedly drove, coffees in hand, to Bathurst.  We met the guys first, and I am not quite sure how I didn’t go into labour that morning because I guffaw laughed the entire time we were around these guys.  They were so funny, lovey and through and through from Newfoundland!  I told them that I was pretty much in love with them and could just hug them… so they immediately took a break from photos and all three guys gave a hearty, laughing hug to me and Matt and Krystle.  That pretty much glued a smile on our faces for the entire day.

I know it sounds cliché, but love and laughter really were the themes of the day.  It was shown by Jodie in the morning interacting with her sweet little girl, seeing Robert laugh and hug his brothers, how Jodie, the girls, and her mom laughed as they did her dress up, the quiet moment between Jodie and her dad when he put her necklace on, and one of my favorite moments…just after Jodie and Robert kissed during their ceremony, they just took a moment and held each other.

Jodie and Robert, your wedding truly was the special day I knew it would be, and we officially adopt you two and your wedding party/family!  We loved being a part of your day, and I swear I smile and giggle out loud as I go through your pictures, reliving it.

The ceremony was held on the first tee at the beautiful Gowan Brae golf course in Bathurst.

Melissa and Patrick, it was a pleasure to spend your wedding day with you and an extra day covering your grandma’s 100th Birthday celebration. Enjoy the picture highlights from your day!

Everyone gave a big round of applause for Melissa’s grandma who turned an incredible 100 years old that weekend.

When the moment came for Sarah to make her way down the aisle, the music reached its crescendo, the double doors were opened, the congregation stirred to their feet (and I swear I heard a few delighted gasps), and Sarah made her way to her dashing groom who smiled wide and dabbed away a tear or two.

Memramcook was the perfect venue for their grand celebration, made even more beautiful by the elegant decorations done by Dieppe’s own Unico Decor. The swooping fabric at the front exquisitely accented the front Archway where Sarah and Nick said “I do”.

Sarah and Nick, thank you for letting us be a part of your stunning day!

Their smiles could not compare to the smile that Raymond sported as his beautiful bride walked down the aisle; he was so taken with her that he bit his lip.  I swooned a little when I saw him do it.  You see, these two are in love.  The secret smile, can’t wait to kiss, toe curling kind of love that you see on screen in a perfect romance movie.

We posted more couples shots than normal because frankly these two are adorable together and share incredible chemistry.

Melissa and Raymond your day was laid out luxuriously, you two are more than perfect together and your bridal party was FANTASTIC!  Thank you so much for including us in your day!

These two met and fell in love at the Moncton Flight School (yes they are both pilots, how cool is that!)  When we found out that they wanted to do part of their engagement shoot at the flight school with a 1960′s Decathlon, we couldn’t have been more thrilled.

Paula and Andrew, we had so much fun with you two; you really brought “it” to the shoot.  We can’t wait to work with you again!
